How to get over with chronic diarrhea pain
A striking abdominal that does not accept any excuses, simply impossible to refrain. That is diarrhea. Who hasn’t had it once? Something bad we ate, we first think. It shakes us up for some days, but then it goes away just as it came. But what happens when it lasts more than you expected? What to do and you just can not take the pain anymore?
When this happens we are facing what is called Chronic Diarrhea (CD), up to 4 watery movements in a day during more than two weeks.
This acute diarrhea has many possible causes, as bacterial, viral and other types of infections, colitis, IBS, Crohn’s disease, diabetes, food additives, polyps, allergies, minor blood flow to the intestines, genetic inheritance, travelling, etc. but it is mostly, CD is triggered by parasites, as Giardia, and in patients of HIV/AIDS that have a weak immune system.
Unlike constipation, which takes time to stool passage, in this case the time passes by so quickly bowels can not absorb well the nutrients from food. With this slow transit, we are loosing sodium and potassium that make us feel deeply weak, and loose fluid too, that that go through the feces and leave our organism dehydrated.

Speeds up aging process
Dehydration can be really serious, for both the old and the young. When the system looses minerals, electrolytes and fluids it needs to work properly. When the car runs out of lubricant, it gets rusty, doesn’t it?
So, with no water, what happens? You body cells start drying out; skin cells can not get the moisture and nutrients to regenerate daily. As we age, you know that cellular regeneration slows down the speed, so it needs a little help to get it do a better job.
HIV/AIDS patients
Decreases immunity
HIV/AIDS debilitates the immune system; therefore any micro organism(s) can easily attack it. Chronic diarrhea is the most common symptoms of this illness. It may also be triggered by quick bowel movements, certain medications and malabsorption. Extreme care is a must to avoid the infection of other diseases.
Children
Affects your children’s growth…
Loosing weight and appetite can be really damaging for children and teens: They are at the peak of their growth! Chronic diarrhea in children produce deficiencies on their nutrition, intellectual and physical development since they are expelling all they nutrients they need to grow up healthy. If for you as a grownup is hard to take the pain, imagine how hard it is for your child…
Diarrhea out of control?
Those awful cramps that make you writhe in pain just mean one thing: Gotta stay at home! Going to the bathroom time after time, drinking water, feeling exhausted…There is no way you can go to work in such conditions, or go to school, or take that flight, or going to the date of your life.
At the worst of times…
We have to face it: It seems all odds come together to make it happen in the most inconvenient time, isn’t it?
Nothing can be more exasperating than having the stomach cramps calling S.O.S just when you are away from home, from the unique comfort and privacy your house’s bathroom can give you.
What to do with the pain?
After having many episodes of diarrhea, the anal area feels very irritated and sensitive. It is normal; it is too much effort for your veins and tissues. But standing the cramps, gases and bloating, plus the anal pain, is too much.
That area may not get cleaned very well, so it can get infected very easily, and these infections can be passed on to your genitals as well.
Cleaning that area can be difficult too, the contact with harsh toilet papers, wiping and scrubbing too much this part, and the use of some irritant soaps can increase the pain.
Even if diarrhea is gone for some days, you can still feel the discomfort of going on with your regular activities.
